This model was created to link Xanthos (a global hydrologic modeling framework) and GCAM. The main objective of Tethys is to downscale GCAM water demand outputs into monthly gridded (0.5-degree) data by domestic, electricity, irrigation, livestock, manufacturing, and mining sectors.
